The North Shore 114 builds upon the design of the award winning Apostle. A directional big mountain ski that is loved by every RMU member, from racers and freestyle athletes to the resort powder hounds. The design was assisted with RMU athlete Alex Armstrong, who was searching for a stable big mountain ski to suit her racing background.

We insured the beloved characteristic of the Apostle series were kept in the North Shore's production, agility and intuitiveness in determining your best way down the slope, while keeping it light without feeling you are on a wider ski. The quick release action to keep you out of trouble in tight situations, and keep a strong edge control when you pick up speed. In its first season it's received Freeskier's Editors pick and we are excited for the success to continue.

We manufacture all our Carbon skis in the same style and mindset; drop the weight, while IMPROVING performance. It is a continuously difficult task to find the right balance of wood and carbon-fiber to lighten the ski and new innovative methods to improve the ski, but we believe we've reached a new milestone. Our new carbon skis drop between 12 - 15% in weight and out perform all others. We are ecstatic on the results.

A newly improved carbon construction for 2023/2024, we have added in an ABS frame to surround the rubber material of the tip-spacer. This ABS frame significantly improves torsional rigidity throughout the ski, stiffens the nose for reduced chatter and continuity of flex throughout the ski.
