Summit County Rescue Group
Summit County Rescue Group (SCRG) has been keeping Summit County residents and visitors safe, at no cost, since 1973. The team has responded to nearly 5000 calls for help in the backcountry during that time, in recent years becoming one of the busiest mountain rescue teams in the state of Colorado. SCRG’s all-volunteer team operates year-round, providing backcountry rescue services in whatever conditions Mother Nature throws their way.
The 71 volunteer members are proud to celebrate the team’s 50th anniversary this year with the help of local partners and supporters. SCRG has grown significantly since their inception. The team has added members and equipment and become more technically specialized and more sophisticated in their procedures and communication, but their mission remains the same: to save lives.

A newly improved carbon construction for 2023/2024, we have added in an ABS frame to surround the rubber material of the tip-spacer. This ABS frame significantly improves torsional rigidity throughout the ski, stiffens the nose for reduced chatter and continuity of flex throughout the ski. As all our carbon skis, the core is milled 1mm extra across the core and includes carbon fiber stringers tip to tail. This drop in weight by 13% is matched with performance that doesn't waiver.
