Our carbon lightweight construction is for those who seek a little bit more adventure. To walk up the hillside in the early morning, or late brunch sunshine, enjoying everything the mountains have to offer. Saving weight for the descent, with poppy skis and extra energy, it's destined for greatness.
All our Tour's feature a tail clip for skinning and rubber dampening in the tip and tail. Our aim was to reduce the classic characteristics of over-stiffness and chattering of old carbon skis, into a lightweight damp ski resembling any other classic wood ski.
A softer flex pattern than our Wood construction creates a smooth ride in soft snow, for you to express your playful side areas you didn't expect. This doesn't restrict on resort skiing, with rubber dampening in the tip in tail to provide the closest feel to a Wood construction you'll find.
The Apostle 96, with the same profile as Apostle 106, still retains pursues freeride and soft snow, but excels best as a pure backcountry designated ski. For pin-light setups, this narrower underfoot ski with a wide nose loves to sprint up hill and float the way down.
The old days of chattery carbon skis are gone. We are excited to continue improvements on our Carbon construction with substantial proprietary dampening, aerospace carbon and lighter fiberglass, creating an extremely playful and damp light weight ski. Whether you are looking for uphill performance or a fun poppy ski for the downhill, our Carbon/Tour construction is now extremely versatile for every rider.
