Kyle Coxworth
1: Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada
2: Whistler is just a no brainer for a 20 year old from Ontario who loves to ski
3: Always watched Swadburg, and then maybe some fate?
4: I believe in the brand and the atmosphere that surrounds it
5: Doing tricks and boosting off everything
6: The rippah hands down. After 13 years of experience this ski has been the best and rides like a dream. A culmination of everything I like, and I can beat the piss out of them and they stay strong.
7: My beautiful girlfriend Cat Agnew, aka Catty Lou

Helena Hoppenrath
1: Bowen Island, a small island in howe sound.
2: I grew up skiing in the sea to sky, and though I’ve always felt drawn to the mountain town life, I enjoy being just a short drive away to the ocean, and my family. Pemberton will probably be the closest inland i’ll ever live. I feel super lucky to have grown up in the sea to sky cooridor, and I don’t think I’ll ever leave!
3: At an event that was happening at the blackcomb location. Never been in a bar that is also a ski shop, and thought it was the coolest thing ever!
4: It’s special riding for a smaller company, that’s so community based. There’s something about riding on a ski that was once someones passion project, and to me that makes the whole experience a lot more authentic and meaningful. It’s a really sweet thing to be apart of.
5: To me it’s an escape. No matter how I’m feeling, I know that if I go skiing I’ll feel 100 times better. It’s like therapy!
Also all of the friendships, and relationships I’ve formed over the years through skiing.
6: YLE 118’s baby! Earlier in the season I was hesitant to ride a bigger ski, but they just happen to be my everyday ski now. No matter what conditions I’m skiing in, they go! Crud, hardpack, courderoy, pow pow, corn snow, you name it! The assymetrical build, and the width, gives them a smooth surfy feel, which I really dig. I started surfing a couple years ago, and I feel like it’s influenced my skiing in a way, and has made me look at the mountain with
a different perspective. Those ski’s give me that feeling, and some days it really does feel like I’m riding a wave
Happy I went with the big boys, I’ll never go back!
7: My dad Andy, 100%. He taught me how to ski, and he’s taught me so much about being in the mountains. He’s who I feel like most comfortable with in the backcountry, and has always been my #1 supporter (you too mom!). Some of the best days I’ve had in the mountains have been with my dad, and I feel lucky that we get to share our passion for the mountains and the sport alongside eachother. And apparently we ski the exact same lol.
Love you dad!

Kirill Kokorin
1: Onterrible
2: I started hearing of about Whistler when all the homies from the east started to move out. The park looked world class and snow seemed unreal. I had a feeling that I knew I would want to end up in a similar place in my life. One day I took a big chance, packed my car and left my life in Ontario to chase that dream. I look back at that moment as the best decision of my life. I think I’ll be here forever.
3: I met Mike @mwaesche, the supreme leader, on a dock at Lost Lake. Luckily I knew a few riders on RMU at the time and got a chance to build-up the brand in Whistler! Best start in Whistler you could ask for.
4: Whenever I go there, someone is there that I know and we all have a common stoke for the mountains!
5: It’s so fun.
6: YLE 118. It’s a monster truck that has the qualities of a rally car. Thanks for the design @willeymiller
7: @angel00se he’s my main touring partner and a snowboarder. I get to view the mountain through his snowboard style and teachers me to ride more creative. He’s also got a great sense and intuition with nature, it’s nice to have that in a backcountry partner.

Tristan Underhill
1: Whistler BC is my home down and will always be considered home.
2: Whistler provides everything I want to get the most enjoyment out of life. Especially in the sportys aspect of life.
3: I was introduced to RMU by Landon Pinette in 2012. I joined the RMU grassroots team for that year and got my first pair of RMU apostles 105's. I have been skiing RMU's since then.
4: RMU is a group of people who are very like minded and all have a passion for the mountains.
5: flying through the air, skiing powder and exploring the mountains.
6: YLE 118 It gives me the stability and control I want for the big mountains yet is still playful enough for the trees.
7: Ben Bethune and I had an excellent sled ski season last year. We were able to tick off a couple big lines I had been looking at for years. We have a very similar skiing style, interests in terrain and similar risk tolerance which make him a great guy to ski with. Realistically there are so many good people to ski with and all deserve credit.

John Entwistle
1: Kelowna B.C. (Big White)
2: I’ve skied a lot of places, and it’s pretty damn hard to be the terrain of Whistler. From the backcountry to the resort there is never a shortage of options.
3: I met Scott and Mike at a backyard party during crankworks one year. Pretty much every good relationship starts at crankworx.
4: I’m actually really picky when it comes to skis. As a former racer I need something stiff and solid underfoot. RMU brings that in a fun and progressive package. As for the bars? I’ve been to both Blackcomb and Breck - there’s no better place for apres.
5: Like everyone else, I enjoy a solid powder day. Unlike everyone else I might like crushing groomers at high speed equally as much.
6: Currently the North Shore 108 - it’s a ski you can have fun on 90% of the days without question. A great all rounder.
7: As a photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to ski with lots rad people over the years. A heli trip with childhood hero Seth Morrison back in 2013 still stands out as a pretty good one. These days, I’m all about exploring the backcountry with my fiancé Kilee (@kileetravels) or any of the RMU crew.

Axel Runner
1: Whistler, BC
2: Because I grew up here and still really like it! Don't feel like leaving. This place is where I call home and where all of my friends are, and happens to have one of the worlds best ski resorts so it's hard to pass up on that and go somewhere else!
3: I had first heard about RMU when I watched the Strictly Business Movie that came out a few years back. That same winter, after the intersection contest we were contacted by RMU to see if we wanted to be involved with the brand. I immediately jumped onboard as I saw it was a great opportunity and the fact that RMU had a location opening up that winter made it that much more exciting!
4: RMU skis are honestly really good! Absolutely love my pair of YLE 118s :) As for the bar, I frequently go there to wax/mount skis, and also to have a drink and hangout as it's one of the nicest bars in town, with super friendly staff and possibly the best sour on tap I've tried!
5: Backies :)
6: YLE 118s. Nice and stiff, wide, playful and they don't chatter at high speeds. All around a great ski for backcountry/freeride and I use them quite a lot in the park as they are super fun there as well.
7: My brother Dylan. He's the reason why I skied so much since such a young age. Without him there the sport would of never been the same and wouldn't have progressed to the skier I am today without him. Also great to out with him in the backcountry as he's the one I trust the most out there and rely on if things go south ...

Ty Urlich
1: Boston
2: I came to Whistler for the first time to go to Momentum Camps during high school. I ended up applying to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver so that I could ski at Whistler as much as possible while attending school. After years of driving up to Whistler on the weekends, I moved to Whistler full time last September after I graduated.
3: I first heard of RMU when I moved out to Summit County from Boston in 2013. My roommate @cottiegorham and his brother Maks rode on some RMU skis at the time. Cottie always hyped them up and I wished I had a pair all the time haha.
4: When RMU moved to Whistler I found myself there all the time. All of a sudden it seemed like everyone in town was either riding their skis or meeting down at their bar for Apres. This past October @joeykraft helped set up a premiere at RMU for a film I made with @nicholas_suchy called ‘Better Now’. Everyone in the bar was super welcoming and stoked on our project so shortly after that I asked to join the team.
6: This year I’ve been riding @kylecoxworth’s Rippah 98’s and the YLE 118’s and their both lit. The YLE 118’s have the perfect stiffness for deep snow which makes me fully confident when going big. The @kylecoxworth Rippah 98’s have been a blast in the park. Their stiff enough for blasting through slush and going to the bottom of landing’s but flexible enough to get up on your noses and play around on rails.
7: My favorite person to ski with is my girlfriend @beritadeline. We always have too much fun riding around the mountain, filming each other and then heading to RMU after for a beer!

Mark Draper
1: I am originally from Toronto, Ontario.
2: I remember a family ski trip from when I was around 10. I definitely started falling in love with Whistler then but the first time I came out to Whistler for summer camps I knew I was going to continue to come back over and over again. Also, my Dad spent 2 years out here back in the day and that definitely had an infulence on me. Can’t forget about the breath-taking views any way you look.
3: I first came accross RMU when I saw Ethan riding them after his Superunknown finalist apperance. I was also travelling at the time and had the opportunity to go to the RMU Breck location pretty early on in the companies start up.
4: I ride RMU because 1. I absolutely love the park ski, fully symmetrical, solid under foot but buttery if you get up on the tips or tails. 2. Being part of a “underground” ski company instead of a giant corporate operation allows you to get more involed with the people within the company and they treat you like they really care about you. I always go to RMU because who doesnt want to inhale a Caesar and a Jalapeño Pulled Pork sandy after skiing?
5: The Vibes and feeling of learn a new tricks, dropping a new drop or finding the deepest powder you have ever skied.
6: Rippah 98. I am quite the park rat and these skis definitely hold up past any standards that I have. Also, if there is enough snow to get me out of the park they easily hold up well in the deeper snow.
7: I’d have to say my brother. Even though it has been a long time, it would be my brother because we have amazing chemistry on the mountain. Whether its just shredding around and trusting where he is gonna be or trusting him with the camera to get a good shot. We always skied smoothly, alternating lap for lap on the camera and its nice knowing the person on the other side of the camera is trying their best to get the shot the best they can. S/O SDrvper

Braedyn Kozman
1: I am originally from Dundas Ontario.
2: I came to Whistler for biking the better part of a decade ago, I stayed for the skiing, now it is home.
3: I first came across RMU through Mike, and the brand coming into the upper village. I worked and did school out of the Blackcomb location many days and got to know everyone from that.
4: Because of the sense of community and stoke for the mountains.
5: The Mountains.
6: Hard to say they are so fun if I had to pick one YLE 118, because it skis so well in deep snow and charges in the chunder.
7: There are too many to choose from.

Sergei Sirotov
1: Moscow, Russia. Then later Aurora, Ontario
2: I had many of my ski friends from Ontario come to Whistler for Momentum and Camp of Champs. Always really wanted to go so I visited my friend for a week and easily fell in love with this place. Became a ski instructor and moved out to live the Ski bum life and never left!
3: Seeing Ethan Swadburg edits growing up. Then later Kirill introduced me to Mike and the RMU team when they first arrived in Whistler!
4: My favorite park and powder skis i've ridden. Have a great lineup for any conditions we have out here. They bring a great community vibe to the upper village in Blackcomb. So many great people are a part of the team. Great lineup of beers on tap as well!
5: The lifestyle and people it brings around. Creating a life out of a hobby is pretty amazing. Flipping through the air is pretty damn fun too.
6: The Kyle Coxworth Rippahs. Again, my most favorite park ski. Stiff, but still has some great pop. Easy to butter and hold a great edge. Also, having one of my best buds make 2 amazing graphics for a ski and then having it sell out makes it an all time favorite.
7: Too many to name. It's always too easy to find friends up on the hill and have a great day with any number of people. Sometimes the biggest problem is having too many friends to go skiing with at once!

Jake Sandstrom
1: Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Grew up skiing the Canadian Rockies
2: Moved to Whistler because it's the place to be. Some of the best skiing in North America and where freeskiing in Canada took off from. Not to mention the access to unreal biking and climbing.
3: I've watched skiers like Ethan Swadburg, Benny Smith and Wiley Miller for years now and my older brother had some support from RMU back when he was skiing, so the company has been on my radar for some time.
4: With recently getting to the end of my time as a competitive skier, making the switch to RMU seemed like a good option for where I wanted to take my skiing. The skis are awesome to ride and I am really loving the sense of community with RMU, I feel like I'm a part of the company.
5: My favourite things about skiing are the community, riding and having a good time with great people, the freedom that a person has when they're skiing and the time spent in amazing places.
6: For riding mountain, I've been loving the YLEs; they can charge, they can be poppy and playful, they facilitate switch landings and they're stable, I feel like I can stomp on these skis. When it comes to the park though, it's the Rippah; I've been loving the Rippah for park and Street for all the same reasons I've been loving the YLE for mountain. They're fun and playful but I still feel comfortable skiing fast, corking and going big on this ski.
7: The homies. My favourite people to ski with are my closest friends, the people I have the most fun with and who get me stoked and inspired to try new things.

Logan Winters
1: Canmore, AB
2: I'm in Golden, BC! Having grown up in a small mountain town, I was drawn to the community in Golden. Four years ago, I was lucky enough to land a timber frame design job at Canadian Timber Frames just south of town. From the deep snow and the incredible mountain biking, I never plan on leaving!
3: I was riding for my local shop, Monod Sports, and had the opportunity to try a pair out. I immediately loved the way they skied and quickly transitioned all my set ups to RMU.
4: Well, they are the best skis going! Beyond how they ride, RMU’s values as a company are something I 100% stand behind. Climate change is happening rapidly before our eyes. RMU is paving the way for the ski industry by setting the goal of being carbon neutral by 2025, if not sooner, which is no small feat. RMU has invested in the sport by building a community of like-minded skiers supporting each other. Stoked to see the future of RMU (maybe a bar in Golden?)!
5: My favourite thing about skiing is the community. I am lucky enough to share my love for skiing with all my friends and family. Being able to get out with a bunch of friends in the mountains is something I have realized is such a gift and appreciate every day I get. Stoked I can shred with my homies!
6: North shore YLE 110. The ski is the perfect balance of stiffness to be able to charge any slope and still hit the poppers along the way down.
7: My girlfriend Riley Thackray and my good pal Matt Monod. They know how to send, keep the vibes high, and they don’t know how to call'er quits- "two more skip the last"!?
