Lifetime Warranty
In our company lifetime over 15 years, we have always sought to produce the best skis on the market. In search of the best product available, and in doing so, we believe we now produce the best skis on the market. This search for quality has lead to an industry best warranty program, with a lifetime warranty on all RMU ski, as well as packs & equipment.
We understand that the outdoors isn’t always fresh cord, bottomless powder and smooth trails. Mountain equipment gets beat up, but we build our products with that in mind. We always prioritise building the highest products available, and that is why we honor a lifetime warranty on manufacturer defects for all RMU gear.
Please fill out the form below while adhering to the following criteria to place a claim.
- Warranties apply only to RMU Products purchased from RMUOUTDOORS.COM and authorized RMU dealers and are valid for the original buyer only.
- All claims must include proof of purchase that clearly identifies the dealer and purchase date. If proof of purchase cannot be provided, we will be unable to accept your warranty claim.
What is Covered:
- Damages Due To Defects In Manufacturing
- Structural cracks to the top sheet, base, core, edges, and sidewalls due to a manufacturing defect.
- Die Cut Issues
- Compromised Stitching
- Torn Fabric
What is NOT covered:
- Any problem resulting from impact, misuse, abuse, or neglect. This includes but is not limited to boxes, rails, and rock damage.
- Cosmetic issues including top sheet dents or chips resulting from crossing your skis, sun-faded graphics, and edge oxidation or rust.
- Ski damage resulting from improper mounting of bindings, including the use of incorrect mounting hardware, or base dimples in the base resulting from improper mounting. Our Binding plate increases screw retention 4X from standard and needs to be mounted on the recommended line to ensure it is being utilized properly.
- Demo skis are counted as secondary ownership and do not qualify for the lifetime warranty.
Approved warranties will be shipped free of charge, while defective equipment shall be fixed when possible returned to the customer and or donated, recycled or resold.
If your claim is approved, you will be asked to send the product back to an RMU location at your expense. Upon receipt of the defective product, we will send you a replacement product free of charge.
In some cases we may ask you to send the product back to RMU for additional inspection before your claim is approved or denied. If your claim is approved after inspection, we will send you a replacement product at no cost to you. If your claim is denied but you want the product returned, you may be responsible for the return shipping back to you.
If your claim is denied, but you feel your claim is valid, you may request an inspection at our warranty center. You may either deliver the skis in person or ship them to our warranty center at your expense. If your claim is approved after inspection, we will send you a replacement product at no cost to you. If your claim is denied but you want the product returned, you will be responsible for the return shipping back to you.
Warranties will be resolved as received. The inventory of seasonal equipment may impact the timeframe of replacement. As much as we want to get you on a new product overnight, please be patient while finding the best solution for you.
