He currently competes in cross country mountain bike racing as well as teaching mountain biking to the kids in the local area. As for winter sports, Ben started out as a snowboarder and got into backcountry split boarding in Northern Idaho. However, once he moved to Colorado, he switched to skiing and completely fell in love with it! Bryce Britton

Bryce was born and raised in Colorado since 90’! He was fortunate enough to have parents that built a cabin over Hoosier pass when he was young, so exploring the woods has been engrained in him from an early age. Throughout his life he's learned to enjoy being outside and being able to share it with other people. Being a ambassador for rmu allows him to share his passions for skiing and mountain biking with others and help with input on products on how they can be improved to suite us all better.

"I shred the Apostle 106 184 for winter riding along with core 25L pack for days in backcountry. For MTB I use the Enduro Fanny 3L and my new go to is the Utility Belt 1L for majority of rides. The belt is small so you can hide it under your jersey but still carry essential tools. "

Athlete

Cassy Gates

Cassy got her start in skiing when she was 2 years old at Sugarloaf in Maine. At age 6 she started alpine racing at Okemo Mountain and continued with their weekend program until she was in highschool. At this point, Cassy started attending Okemo Mountain School and was skiing full time. When she was a senior in highschool, Cassy switched to big mountain and park skiing and found a whole new love for the sport. This love motivated Cassy to move out to Boulder, Colorado for college. While attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, Cassy joined the CU Freeski team, eventually becoming the women's park captain. She competed in Slopestyle and Rail Jam events through USASA and USCSA. Cassy probably spent more time skiing than in class during her years at Boulder but was grateful for every second of it and ended up moving to Breckenridge after graduation. While in Breckenridge, Cassy was able to explore more areas of skiing and grew a passion for backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, and coaching the next generation of athletes in the park. These days, Cassy lives in Aspen and still spends the majority of her time on the mountain doing the sports she loves.

Chris McKeever

Chris grew up skiing in Minnesota, competing in Slopestyle and big air events. Every year Chris and his family would travel out west for the Junior Olympics. Throughout the years it became clear where Chris wanted to call home. Chris moved to Breckenridge immediately after high school in 2009 to attend CMC in Breckenridge and the rest is history. If you catch Chris shredding pow or ripping up the park, be sure to throw a high-five his way!

Christine Britton

Christine was born and raised in Littleton CO. Her passion for the outdoors started at a very young age as her dad taught her and her brother how to ski at Loveland. She spent all of her free time being outside and enjoying the 300+ days of CO sunshine. Over the years this evolved into her love for the mountains and spending as much time as humanly possible doing all the things that make her happy including mountain biking, skiing and even learning to snowmobile made the list.

"Being from Colorado, I have been very keen on supporting local brands whenever possible. While attending weekly Ride-O’s a few summers back, I got to know the people and story behind RMU. Our passions aligned and I couldn’t imagine a better brand to support. I enjoy being able to share this community on the mountain and the trail! I use the Utility Belt 1L, Enduro Fanny 3L for MTB, and the Valhalla 107 for skiing. "

Athlete

Clara Murray

Clara Murray was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. Her passion for skiing flourished from a young age as her parents introduced her to the ski hill before she could even walk. From there, she began competing in big mountain freeride and eventually found her joy in ski mountaineering. Since then, Clara has been on the hunt for steep terrain and good snow. For the time being, Clara has settled in Bozeman, Montana and enjoys skiing the Bridger, Madison and Absaroka ranges. She has a special place in her heart for the spots that are usually a little tough to get to. she uses her Valhalla Carbon Tour 108 to get there. She's a big fan of their versatility, lightness and killer graphics, the perfect “do it all ski”.

Athlete

Connor Overly

Connor Overly grew up in Telluride CO and now lives in Montana. He spends the majority of his time riding snowmobiles looking for new zones to ski. You can find his skiing through the latest Carnage movie “Carnage Vs The World”

Ski #1

"Absolute powder quiver killer. Floats and drives great but still has a very responsive feel when skiing tight quarters. "

Athlete

Ellie Reynolds

Ellie is 16 years old and lives in Steamboat Springs. This will be her fourth year competing in Big Mountain competitions and will be skiing for both RMU and Flylow. One of the biggest reasons she loves skiing is because of the people and places it connects her too. She loves being able to travel to other mountains and meet new people, people that share the same passions as her.

Ski #1 Ski #2

"Last year I skied on the Valhalla 97 as my everyday comp ski and it was one of my favorite skis so this year I got the Valhalla 107 and am excited to ski that for this upcoming season. Along with those skis I used the Core Pack 25L and it was the perfect backpack for competitions, hiking, going backcountry, and side country, traveling on the airplane and everyday resort use."

Athlete

Elsa Smith

Despite her age, Elsa Smith is no stranger to the world of freeride skiing. Her childhood in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, allowed her to play around Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Targhee during the weekends, and in the backcountry terrain of Wyoming and Idaho on weekdays after school. Her upbringing inspired her to pursue a lifestyle that revolves around the mountains, and she has since dipped her toes into freeride competition circuits and film and media projects. Despite having a decorated competitive history in the IFSA circuit, Elsa has departed from the competition world and has joined small production teams, like The Local's Project, on story-telling-based films that capture the fundamental elements of skiing. Now that she's back in Wyoming after finishing her undergraduate degree in Integrative Human Physiology, Elsa is excited to pursue more projects that reflect what she loves most about skiing- community, personal style, and pure joyful fun.

Athlete

Greg Yearsley

Greg grew up in Evergreen Colorado where he was put on skis at a very early age. While fortunate enough to grow up in a beautiful area and to get to ski a lot at a young age, he has also been battling I-70 traffic since those early years. Sometimes I-70 feels like his third parent. Possibly due to inhaling so much car exhaust while sitting in ski traffic, he decided to start telemarking around 12 years old. He began telemarking out of curiosity after watching his dad do it for many years and now has been ruining his knees for almost 18 years full time. His favorite activities include: petting cats, being a menace in the park, twisted tea, and yelling “beyblade let it rip”.

Ski #1

"My favorite piece of gear has to be the core pack 42l. As someone who likes stuff and has anxiety about not having the right layers or enough water when in the backcountry the core pack 42l absolutely slaps and makes that anxiety melt away. I can fit multiple layers, multiple water holding devices, snacks, med kit, repair kit, skins, a full pokemon deck, and all my avy gear no problem with room to spare. I even got two of my cats in it once. this pack does it all and more! "

Athlete

Hailey Griffin

Hailey Griffin is a strong-ass woman and mother and if that were all that you knew of her she'd be happy. Having sustained an L1 Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) in January of 2019, she has gone from a sad scared little "disabled" girl to a force to be reckoned with. She’s spent most of her life adventuring all over the great state of Colorado. She began monoskiing in 2020 in Crested Butte, CO and has already, to her name, a 2nd and a 3rd place podium, as well as a 4th place finish, from US and Canadian Nationals (2023) and has been featured in a full-length ski film (Advice for Girls) that is advocating for equitable treatment of women in the outdoor and ski industries. She conquered two first descents in a monoski at Snowbird, UT (Great Scott & North Chute) with a few of her teammates - also monoskiers - in the 2022-23 season and recently took 1st at Crested Butte, Colorado's 2023 Adaptive Mountain Biking World Championships (the competition is nonexistent in her category, someone come and race her, please!). She is highly involved with several foundations that support adaptive athletes (Sisters in Sports, High Fives) and also enjoys volunteer work with adaptive programs (Adaptive Sports Center, Telluride Adaptive Sports Program, National Ability Center).

"I am so stoked to be reppin’ RMU and their beautiful badass products! My Apostle 106s can handle it all but when in the deeper, steeper stuff, they are very playful and make me feel as if I could fly. They’re what I skied in the Advice for Girls film! "

Athlete

Ingrid Gerdes

Ingrid is a 16 year old from Eagle, Colorado and her home mountain is Vail. She competes in IFSA big mountain competitions and this will be her second year doing so with Ski and Snowboard Club Vail. Skiing has always been a huge part of her life and she doesn't remember a time that she didn’t love skiing. Skiing has always been her biggest passion, the feeling of sliding around on snow and simply making turns no matter the conditions. She loves flying around or hitting jumps, cliffs, and technical lines. Skiing is her happy place, it makes her feel so free, even more than that the places she has had the opportunity to go ski and the incredible people she has been able to meet. The community is one of her favorite parts of the free ride and skiing community.

Ski #1

"I've skied the Valhalla 107 for the past 2 seasons and I'm sticking with it this year. They can shred in any condition and are such a fun time to ski in comps and simply everyday. "

Athlete

Jason Laabs

Jason was born in Upper Michigan in a small town and lived in the Midwest through college. His mom introduced him to skiing when he was 5 years old. It all started at Crystal Mountain in Lower Michigan, which boasts 375 vertical feet! After discovering his love for the mountains, he moved to Denver in 2006 to start his career in civil engineering and never looked back! Moving to Summit County was another pivotal change, with better access to trails, skiing, and becoming more involved in the community. "Working with RMU has been a great partnership, and it's so fun supporting a local business with mountain culture living in a place I call home!

Ski #2

"My go to daily driver is the Apostle 106 3.0 in wood. It’s fun and playful, yet holds its own when you put the hammer down! "

Athlete

Kelley Wren

Kelley Wren (she/her) grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, but in 2013 she went in search of bigger mountains landing in Breckenridge and has called the Rockies home ever since. Being a snowboarder since 1998, Kelley was finding a way to fill the hole that was left once the snow melted away. Discovering a purple, fully rigid, Trek mountain bike in a neighboring dumpster, Kelley fixed it up enough to last through her first handful of rides before investing in a full suspension bike. She's been crushing the dirt trails on two wheels ever since and was so inspired by the sport and community that she became a mountain bike coach for her women's outdoor education company, VNTRbirds.

Ski #1

"My go to bike bag is the RMU 1L Enduro Fanny. There's enough pockets and space for simple tools and snacks, but so lightweight you barely know it's there. Feeling free. On longer rides or out coaching I have my Enduro 3L stuffed full of all the necessities!"

Athlete

Kimmy Mary Mackey

Kimmy grew up in Colorado and was thrown on skis at the age of 2 with her siblings. Sometimes she wondered if her parents knew the damage they were causing by raising a bunch of ski bums. At 9 she decided to start snowboarding and at 21 went back to skiing with the goal to do both regularly. Her dad has done both most of my life and she's the kind of girl that doesn’t like having just one trick in her bag. She lives in her own personal snow globe in Breckenridge, Colorado and hits the mountain most days with her brothers, husband, and normally a few stray starburst’s.

Athlete

Leanne Wren

Leanne Wren is an all-around outdoor adventurer. From mountain biking to backcountry splitboarding, she spends the majority of her time playing in the mountains both near and far from her home base in Breckenridge, CO. When she got the opportunity to partner with her sister @krellbird with VNTRbirds there was no hesitation. Her personal mission has been to teach & encourage other women & femme identifying folks to get outside. As a backcountry guide and avalanche instructor, Leanne has the experience and knowledge to explore beyond the boundaries, including many international destinations like Japan and Canada.

"The RMU Enduro Fanny 3l totally changed the game for MTB fanny packs. It's comfortable, was purposefully made and looks so clean. There is room for everything I like to carry as a MTB coach and the helmet sling is my favorite feature."

Athlete

Noah Brändli

Growing up in the shadow of the Swiss Alps, Noah Brändli was at home on the mountains with or without snow. Whether on a pair of skis, skates, a bike, or hiking boots- he developed an innate sense of wonder for the alpine life. Moving to the Rockies with his family in his teens exploded Noah's love for all things snow and skiing. Even in the summer, he built towering backyard setups. He never needed to train or gear up when the snow flew- he was already chomping at the bit. Days after high school graduation he headed straight to Breckenridge where he spent long nights tuning skis and long days on the slopes for many happy years. Now, whether he’s going solo or with a big group of friends, he feels that being out on the mountain, having fun, and sharing his passion is one of the purest feelings in the world.

Athlete

Rafaelo Infante

Rafaelo Infante has traveled to the most beautiful spots around the world in pursuit of riding pristine trails. Starting his mountain biking career at 13, you could say that Rafa has spent his fair share of time in the saddle, applying shammy cream when needed. When the snow begins to fall and temps drop to 32 degrees, it's time to pack up the racing rig and bring out the skis. With Rafaelo’s first year on the RMU Breck team, he is frothing to learn, adventure, and further integrate himself into the Colorado ski community and we are so stoked to have him apart of the RMU Family. Don’t be scared to high five Rafa if you see him rippin trail on or off the bike.

Athlete

Sean Richard

Sean’s parents had Sean skiing at 3 years old at his home mountain, Mammoth Mountain in California. Sean grew up in Southern California skiing on his weekends and sneaking away from school (when he could) following his brother Justin from the top of the mountain to the bottom and perfecting his skills at a young age. As Sean started to get his feet under him, he started falling deeper in love with the mountains and his skis. Sean skied throughout his childhood and once he made it to graduation in 2006 he moved out to Breckenridge to ski with Justin (his brother) and the rest is history. As Sean progressed his skiing here in Breckenridge in the park and the rest of the mountain, he made a trip to Telluride to watch his brother ski in the FWQ (Freeride World Qualifiers). After witnessing the energy and excitement around FWQ, he couldn’t get big mountain skiing off his mind. In 2014, Sean took first place at Crystal Mountain in the FWQ and placed 5th overall in the United States, to Sean he was at the top of his big mountain skiing career. Since Sean’s big win he’s been ripping Breckenridge and hasn’t stopped, Sean started skiing for RMU in 2019 and has been a great addition ever since. Sean also rips his mountain bike in the off-season to gear up for the upcoming ski season but skiing is where the heart is for Sean Richard!

Athlete

Sebastiaan Renooy

Seb is from The Netherlands and grew up in a town right outside of Amsterdam that is located 12ft below sea level in one of the flattest countries in the world. You would think that as a kid he would become a speed skater or a soccer player, but thanks to his parents for taking the family on a little ski vacation to a tiny resort in Germany when he was 7, he fell in love with skiing and the mountains. Skiing has took Seb to awesome places, from the Alpes, Dolomites and to an indoor resort in Dubai. To compensate for the lack of elevation in his childhood home, he decided to move to Breckenridge sitting at 10,000ft. He moved to Breckenridge for the skiing, but fell in love with mountain biking a few years ago at the RMU Ride O events where he met new friends and had good beer.
