At RMU, we understand that the outdoors isn’t always fresh cord, bottomless powder and smooth trails. Gear gets beat up, and we build our products with that in mind. That is why we honor a lifetime warranty on the manufacturer's defects for all RMU products.
RMU is committed to producing quality products without compromise. Manufacturing in renewably powered factories and honoring a satisfaction guarantee on our outdoor equipment. We build our gear to push the limits for the years ahead, and we believe the limitations of manufacturing should not hinder your adventures. That is why RMU products have a lifetime guarantee.
Please fill out the form below while adhering to the following criteria to place a claim.
Warranty claims MUST be from the original owner on a new product and supported by a dated receipt.
Warranty claims must be due to defects in manufacturing. These structural damages are therefore a result of defective materials or workmanship. Issues of equipment may include, but are not limited to:
Skis - Delamination's, Die Cut Issues, Displaced Sidewalls
Equipment - Torn Fabric, Broken Zippers, Snapped Buckles
Return of the defective product by the customer to one of our locations for correct disposal. Shipping is to be paid for by customer. Customer may also drop off warranty product to one of RMU's locations.
Approved claims will result in a product replacement shipped free of charge from RMU.
The following mishaps do not qualify:
Top sheet chipping due to crossing tips
Using skis as walking sticks to the lift resulting in the tail delaminating or splitting
Hitting a tree, rock or other object resulting in damage to ski (for example, delamination, core shots, edge damage, or top sheet damage)
Rail and box impact
Flying off roof racks
Crushed under the car wheel
Sitting in the rain all summer
A melted base after leaving the waxing iron on overnight
Not repairing minor damages resulting in major damages
RMU is proud to pursue the values of environmental stewardship, uncompromised quality and positive community impact. Granted warranties shall be replaced, while defective equipment shall be fixed when possible and donated accordingly.
Warranties will be resolved as received. The inventory of seasonal equipment may impact the timeframe of replacement. As much as we want to get you on a new product overnight, please be patient while finding the best solution for you.
