This extra edge leans the Apostle 96 into a more directional ski for gripping turns down groomers and edge control in the couloirs. As directional All-Mountain ski, it provides extreme stability underfoot, but it's taper allows for quick release turns in choppy snow or tight tree runs. The improved progressive flex through the nose initiates quick and strong carves down the groomers following through by bouncing over any hardpack crud thats gets in your way
New for 2023/2024 is a reduced rocker profile, extending the effective edge of and flattening of the tail. Creating additional stability and control in variable conditions.
Each season we release our limited edition top sheets and quantities, only available directly through RMU. This year, we've decided to celebrate our mountain culture hubs by working with local artists in each of our communities to bring an aspect of each town's life to a pair of skis. For the Apostle 96, we've turned to our west coast friends in Truckee, California.
We've linked up with Tahoe artist Em Deane Kelley. A Graphic Designer and proud female business owner of Locals Creative– a design studio based in Truckee, CA. She's often found working from the road, her laptop can be found sprinkled with dirt and never too far from a trailhead or nature view to inspire her work.
